Dual Pricing on Clover

The Challenge

Nellis Technologies needed a way to help their merchants recover credit card processing fees while offering incentives for cash payments. Thee Clover POS solution lacked native support for custom two decimal dual pricing strategies, making it difficult to implement cash discounts for customers. They required a custom solution that would adjust inventory prices to the listed Card Price and automatically apply pricing adjustments based on payment method.

Our Solution

Zoomifi developed a custom Dual Pricing app for Clover that integrates with the Clover SDK. The solution includes a background service that monitors payment intents and offers customers a choice of payment options with Card and Cash pricing.

Results

• ✓Set a custom increase/discount percentage to two decimals places (e.g. 3.80%)
