Smart Delivery Dates Setup Guide

How to install Smart Delivery Dates on your Shopify store and check that it's working.

  1. 1. Install Smart Delivery Dates

    Install Smart Delivery Dates from the Shopify App Store and approve it in your Shopify admin. Then choose a plan in the app: Simple, or Standard, which starts with a free trial. You can change plans later from Plans in the app menu.

  2. 2. Add Smart Delivery Date to your product page

    In the app, select Add in theme editor. Your product page template opens in the theme editor with the Smart Delivery Date block added; select Save to keep it. The message shows under the buy buttons, and the block's settings change its alignment, font size and highlight color. No code changes are needed.

  3. 3. Set your cutoff and delivery time

    In the app's Settings, under Cutoff schedule, set your daily cutoff hour, your delivery time, and the days you ship, then save. Orders placed before the cutoff ship the same day. The cutoff uses your Shopify store's time zone unless you choose another.

  4. 4. See it on your store

    Open a product page on your online store. Shoppers see how long is left to order before your cutoff and the date the order should arrive, for example "Order in the next 3 hours and get it by Friday".
